There is a strong relationship between obedience and blessings. The two are very closely related to each other. In Hebrews 11:6, the bible states that God “…is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.” In Matthew 6:33, the bible advises us to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be added to you.”
How can God bless you if He doesn’t know you? A a child of God, you must be obedient to His word. You must follow His commandments. You must be a borne-again believer that Jesus was crucified, died for our sins, but rose on the 3rd day and is now alive and well seated at the right hand of God making intercession for all of us; the Ministry of Reconciliation. You are in the light.
God is not in darkness. Satan is in darkness. You are in darkness if you live a life of sin with disobedience to God’s word and a conscious decision to rebel against His commandments. What Master are you serving? Are you living in sin or living in obedience to God’s word? You can’t serve both masters.
God will provide and supply all your needs and wants exceeding abundantly and according to His will. Are you connected with Him? Do you have a relationship with God? Does He know you? Are you in the light? God has many blessings in store for you, but these blessings lie in your obedience. He can only get it to you if he can get it through you. Can He trust you with it? All things belong to God.
Submit to God today. Reap the fullness of His grace, love, and mercy. God is good! His mercy is everlasting. His trust endures for all generations. Walk in obedience to His commandments and His word to reap the fullness of your blessings…obedience and blessings!
